In 1972, Dr. Sunderbruch founded the company IFMC on what he called "the concept of a more active peer review organization with a strong quality component and cost containment characteristic." The size of his staff? Exactly three employees.

As physician acceptance of his peer review concept grew, so did our company. Today we have more than $100 million in annual revenue and nearly 800 employees, headquartered in Iowa with offices in Illinois, Maryland, New York and Oklahoma. 

In 2011, we combined IFMC with subsidiary ENCOMPASS to form Telligen. This consolidation of resources and expertise helps us to better serve our broad range of clients.
